About LamaLama Deals
A useful review should help you decide whether a product belongs in your life. LamaLama Deals publishes original product reviews and buying guides in English and Hebrew. We look at everyday choices: whether a coffee maker fits your morning, which connections a laptop hub actually adds, and when a different product would suit you better.
Meet the editor
Doron Benita · Founder & Editor-in-Chief
Founder of LamaLama Deals. Chooses which products get reviewed and signs off every review and guide before it is published.
Doron is the named editor responsible for the publication. A review carrying his editorial sign-off does not mean he personally used the product. We identify the basis of the assessment in the review itself.
How we choose products
We begin with a buying decision worth explaining, not a list of features to repeat. A candidate needs an identifiable model, manufacturer documentation we can check, and a clear place in its category. We favor products for which we can explain a practical trade-off: capacity versus storage space, a useful connection versus an incompatible one, or a convenient format versus extra upkeep.
Popularity can help us find candidates, but it is not evidence that a product will suit everyone. Our recommendations include who should skip an item and two named alternatives, with reasons for choosing each. Some readers should keep what they already own.
Our review policy
We verify the product identity before writing, consult official manufacturer sources for specifications, and cite those sources with an access date. Each review distinguishes documented features from our editorial judgment. We explain the consequences for the buyer rather than reproducing a manufacturer's promises.
Unless a review explicitly identifies hands-on testing and its scope, it is a document-based assessment. We do not infer measured performance, comfort, taste or long-term durability from a specification sheet. If reliable information about a model is missing, we leave the claim out or hold the review for further checking.
Drafts receive an editorial review before publication. Published reviews show when they were reviewed and updated. When a material detail changes or an error is confirmed, we revise the relevant text and update its date. This is a small publication, so a dated review should not be treated as a guarantee that every current package or seller offer is unchanged.
For international orders, check the exact version, compatibility and destination restrictions, along with the seller's return terms. Warranty coverage can depend on the market and seller; confirm how a claim from your country would be handled before ordering.
How we make money
LamaLama Deals participates in affiliate programs and may earn a commission when you buy through our links.
The site is free to read. Where an affiliate link is used, we label it as a paid link near the purchase button. A possible commission does not remove our obligation to explain drawbacks or recommend a different option.
What we never do
We do not copy Amazon descriptions or customer reviews, invent hands-on experience, or accept payment from manufacturers in exchange for coverage or a favorable verdict. Manufacturers do not buy a place in our recommendations.
